The Hollywood Sportatorium was an indoor arena located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. It was opened in 1970 and served as a popular venue for concerts, sporting events, and other entertainment events.
The Sportatorium had a seating capacity of around 15,000 and was known for its unique circular design and acoustics. It hosted concerts by some of the biggest names in music, including The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and Elton John.
Despite its popularity, the Sportatorium faced financial difficulties and was eventually closed in 1988. The building was later demolished in 1993, and the site is now home to a shopping center.
The Hollywood Sportatorium holds a special place in the memories of many South Florida residents who attended events there and enjoyed the entertainment that the arena provided.
